2.7" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) & Crinoid Association- Morocco

This is a 2.7" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) in association with two crinoids (Ascociystites?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron. Partial crinoids and starfish are present throughout the plate and a few edrioasteroid impressions are visible. The largest crinoid measures 1.9" long.

The piece has a repaired crack running through the center with restoration along the repair. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
