2.6" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) With Crinoid - Morocco
This is a 2.6" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron. There are some repairs through the rock and additional impressions of other marine fossils.
There is some restoration along a repaired crack through the rock and the fossil starfish.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
