2.5" Devonian Hyolithid Fossil - Black Cat Mountain

This is a very unusual fossil to find in the Haragan Formation, a Devonian aged Hyolithid. It think I've only seen a couple of these over the years. Hyoliths are animals with small conical shells, known as fossils from the Palaeozoic Era. They are lophophorates, a group which includes the brachiopods. It's 2.5" in length.
