2.35" Pliocene Aged, Fossil Gastropod (Pleioptygma) - Florida
This is a 2.35" long pliocene snail from the species, Pleioptygma lineolata. It was a marine gastropod from the North American Eastern Seaboard. This specimen is preserved in the rock it was found in inside a partial unidentified bivalve shell. A really cool specimen.
