2.05" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) Fossil - Morocco
This is a 2.05" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tioririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidization of iron pyrite. There is one repaired crack running through the rock.
