18.2" Plate of Fish, Samara, and Leaf Fossils - Nebraska

This is an 18.2" wide plate of rock that contains three well preserved fossil leaves (Platanus vitifolia and Populus washoensis) a samara (Acer minor), and a fish fossil, collected from the Valentine Formation of Cherry County, Nebraska. This specimen shows the primary and secondary veins on each leaf, with the largest measuring 7.1" long including the stem. The fish shows beautiful bone and scale preservation, and measures just over 5" long.

Comes with a metal display stand.
