12.6" Running Rhino (Subhyracodon) Radius with Stand - North Dakota
This is a 12.6" long running rhino (Subhyracodon) radius from the right leg that was collected from North Dakota. It is Oligocene in age, or approximately 32 million years old. There are repaired cracks throughout the diaphysis, with spots of gap fill restoration. The majority of restoration is along the distal end of the bone between the point of articulation and the distal end of the diaphysis. Both the proximal and distal points of articulation are in excellent condition.
Comes with the pictured metal display stand. Felt circles have been glued to the base of the stand to prevent scratching of the display surface.
