12.1" Wide, Ordovician Brittle Star & Crinoid Plate - Morocco

This is a 12.1" wide plate containing many fossil brittle stars and crinoids. It comes from the Upper Ordovician Kataoua Formation of Morocco. The orange coloration is due to to the oxidization of iron pyrite. There appears to be some restoration to one of the brittle stars.

This plate comes with a display stand.
