1" Amazing Cornuproetus Trilobite - Rock Removed Under Shell
This a 1" long Cornuproetus trilobite from Issoumour, Morocco. This proetid trilobite displays it's distinctive swept-back genal spines.
It has been left "flying" above a base of limestone on a thin pedestal of rock. If you backlight it the calcite replaced shell is even translucent.
