1.9" Black Shelled, Bondonella Sdzuyi Trilobite - Taroudant, Morocco

This is a black shelled, 1.9" long Fallotaspidoid trilobite (Bondonella sdzuyi) from the Issafen Formation near Taroudant, Morocco. This is a fairly scarce trilobite and you don't often see them with this quality of preservation. The shell is black with orange tips to the spines. On the opposite side of the rock a second, partial Bondonella can be seen.
