1.7" Early Cambrian Fallotaspis - Tazemmourt, Morocco
This is rare and exceptionally well preserved Fallotaspis trilobite collected from the Issafen Formation near Tazemmourt, Morocco. I've only seen a few examples of this species available for sale over the past couple of years. It bears a strong resemblance to Fallotaspis bondoni (Neltner & Poctey, 1950).
The specimen is 1.7" long and has been fantastically prepared to bring it out in high relief against the surrounding shale. There is head of a second Fallotaspis associated with it.
