1.62" Allosaurus Tooth - Wyoming
This is a 1.62" long tooth of Allosaurus collected a couple decades ago from Big Horn County, Wyoming. Like nearly all dinosaur material from the Morrison Formation is was fractured while in the ground and has a number of repairs and gap fills, mainly in the upper portion of the tooth. The very tip has been restored. At over 1 1/2" long this is a pretty large Allosaurus tooth. About 2/3 of the serrations are still visible along the inner edge.
