1.5" Paleocene Fossil Conifer (Parataxodium) - North Dakota

This is a beautiful plate containing a branchlet impression from the coniferous genus Parataxodium, collected from the Sentinel Butte Formation of North Dakota. It is finely detailed and the light preservation contrasts well against the dark orangish-brown rock. A seed pod is also present on the plate.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
