1.4" Rare Koneprusia With Crisscrossing Axial Spines - Hmar Lakhdad

This is an incredible Koneprusia collected near Hmar Lakhdad, Morocco. I've only seen a few examples of this undescribed species over the years and this one is the best of them. The preparation is outstanding with all of the spines prepared free of the surrounding limestone. This type of Koneprusia has an unusual feature in that the long axial spines veer off in alternating directions. Including the spines the trilobite measures 1.4" wide and would probably be about 1.6" long it it wasn't slightly arched.
