Beautiful 2.4" Thomsonite Specimen - India
This is an incredible 2.4" long specimen of the zeolite Thomsonite from the Maharashtra province of India. Thomsonite is one of the rarest zeolites found in the volcanic rocks in the area. The fuzzy ball of Thomsonite has a beautiful peach to red coloration, and is 1.0" across.
Large tabular stilbite crystals can be found protruding from the surface of the matrix, surrounding the thomsonite crystals that sits perfectly along the edge of the specimen.
