This is a gorgeous pendant made from a natural stone of ruby in kyanite, quartz, and fuchsite, collected from India. It has been shaped and polished to a glossy finish, and measures .9" tall (including loop). The stone has been set into 925 sterling silver and is accompanied by a 24" long, silver plated snake chain necklace with a lobster clasp. You will receive the exact pendant pictured.

Often labelled as "ruby in kyanite", this material consists of rubies surrounded by blue-green kyanite rims, which are further surrounded by a matrix of fuchsite, muscovite, and quartz. Under both short and long-wave ultraviolet light, the natural rubies within the stone exhibit a stunning red fluorescence. The material comes from the Madikeri area of India.
