This 9.5" wide specimen features attractive white halite crystals, collected from the Great Salt Lake in Box Elder County, Utah. The crystal formations have a geometrically aesthetic appeal that can only be truly appreciated in person.

Under shortwave ultraviolet light, these crystals exhibit a bluish white fluorescence.

This specimen comes with an acrylic display stand.

Halite, more commonly known as rock salt, is a form of the mineral sodium chloride (NaCl). It forms when salt-rich waters evaporate and can be colored by mineral impurities.
