7" Carved Brown Rhyolite Stone Skull

This is a beautiful, carved and polished skull made from rhyolitic stone that comes out of China. This material can be found on the market labeled as "brown snowflake obsidian", however it is closer in resemblance to mushroom jasper in both appearance and composition. Some of the underside of the skull and the nasal passages have been hollowed out, resulting in a realistic resemblance to a skull.
