5.2" Fulgurite - "Petrified Lightning Strike"

Fulgurite is formed when lightning strikes sand and foams a silica structure, making each piece unique and one of a kind. This happens when the electricity superheats the sand and rapidly cools, the whole process can take less than a second. This is a fairly large fulgurite specimen at 5.2" in length, which makes it even more desirable.
