4.4" Pyrite, Calcite and Fluorite Association - Fluorescent

This specimen contains calcite and fluorite crystals coated in pyrite micro-crystals. The fluorite can be viewed when looking at what could be considered the bottom of the specimen, noted by its slight green hue. Large calcite crystals can be found somewhat protruding from the specimen, all of which are coated in a chip-like layering of opaque calcite. The pyrite is hard to miss, covering the entirety of what could be considered the top of the specimen.

Under short and long-wave UV lighting, the calcite fluoresces a brilliant orange, while the fluorite underneath has a beautiful deep blue fluorescence.
