2.6" Realistic Polished Red Flower Marble Bear - India

This is a colorful, 2.6" long polished bear sculpted from red flower marble, collected in India. The stone has been meticulously shaped and polished to create this unique piece.

It stands up nicely on a flat surface.

There is very little information on the trade name "red flower marble". Under magnification, the white mineral appears to be silica based (quartz?) and the red mineral is a radiating crystal formation.
