2.4" Polished, Indigo Gabbro Cube - Madagascar
This is a 2.4" wide polished cube of indigo gabbro mined in Madagascar. One corder of the cube has been cut flat so that the cube can be displayed at an angle on a hard surface.
Indigo gabbro, also known as Merlinite, is a mineral conglomerate that occurs and is mined in Madagascar. The typical colors of these basalt rocks are a deep indigo-purple and black. It is frequently polished into decorative items and table tops.
