Nunderite, also known as nundoorite or nundorite, is a rare igneous rock native to Australia. It's an aegirine-orthoclase syenite rock, which is similar to granite but with less quartz and more feldspar. Nunderite is commonly used in jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, and pendants. First discovered in the 1960's at Nundora Station in the outback of New South Wales, Australia, it is named after the station. There is only one known outcrop of this specific rock type in the world.
