2.3" Polished Clear Creek Plasma Agate Egg - California

This is a 2.3" tall specimen of a colorful jasper/agate known as "Clear Creek Plasma agate". It has been shaped into an egg and flawlessly polished to a glossy finish. The excellent lapidary work allows for the mixture of colors in this natural stone to stand out nicely.

Comes with an acrylic ring display stand.

"Clear Creek Plasma agate/jasper is one of those very unique materials found only in San Benito County, California, between Hollister and Coalinga in the Clear Creek Recreation Area, BLM Land. This area was closed for many years due to asbestos hazards but now open once again, although only by permit."
