This is a colorful, 10" tall Morgan Hill poppy jasper specimen. This colorful material was collected from the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Morgan Hill, California. The "display half" of the specimen has been polished to a glossy finish to highlight the fascinating colors.
The coloration of this specimen is unique in that most poppy jasper from this location is yellow with red orbs or vice-versa. This specimen features purple and white orbs encapsulated in maroon and yellow. A truly incredible specimen!
