1.6" Silky, Fibrous Malachite Crystals and Druzy Quartz - Morocco

This is a gorgeous, silky specimen of radiating fibrous malachite with a small druze of quartz along the edges, mined in Morocco. Fibrous malachite is an unusual form of malachite made up of slender prisms of tiny, fibrous needles. These needles merge to create sprays and fans of deep green color. Sometimes referred to as silky or velvet malachite, it's a very showy and displayable form of this forest green mineral.
