This is a beautiful cluster of small, sparkling hexagonal mimetite crystals, collected from the Republic of the Congo. The crystals bear a yellow-orange to almost green (pyromorphite?) color and are best viewed under magnification.

About Mimetite
Mimetite is a rare lead arsenate chloride mineral, often found in shades ranging from bright yellow to orange, brown, and occasionally green.
