1.1" Yoderite and Kyanite Crystal - Mautia Hill, Tanzania

This is a 1.1" long yoderite and kyanite association that was collected from Mautia Hill, Location #3, Tanzania. Yoderite is the violet colored crystal and it formed naturally in association with kyanite (orange). The majority of the talc and quartz matrix that these crystals are found in has been completely removed from the yoderite and kyanite.

Yoderite has become increasingly difficult to find on the market, in fact this is the first time we've had it on our website. Comes with an acrylic display case.
