GLAUBERITE FOR SALE

Glauberite is a brittle, light-colored sodium calcium sulfate mineral, often found in continental and marine evaporite deposits associated with halite, polyhalite, anhydrite, gypsum, thenardite, mirabilite, sassolite, and/or blodite. It may also form in hydrothermal deposits. It was first described in 1808 and named for the extracted Glauber's salts after the German alchemist Johann Rudolf Glauber. It is commercially mined for its sulfate contents.
