Very Nice .56" Ankylosaur or Nodosaur Tooth - Montana
This is a .56" tooth from an indeterminate ankylosaurian or nodosaurid. It was collected from the Two Medicine Formation in Montana. Not enough diagnostic material has been uncovered and studied from this formation for identification down to the species level. The tooth is beautifully preserved with a nice shiny enamel surface. This is a good sized tooth and there is minimal feeding wear to the grinding surface.
