Unusual Serratolamna Fossil Shark Tooth
This is a large anterior fossil shark tooth of Serratolamna ascheroni. Serratolamna is probably the most ornate of the mackerel sharks and has very distinctive and large double side cusps. Teeth of this quality are hard to find because these longer side cusps are so frequently damaged. It's a really cool type of fossil shark tooth from the phosphate mines of Morocco.
