Two Unprepared Fossil Fish Plates - Fish Around 5" Long

This is a pair of unprepared fish plates that likely contain Mioplosus, collected from the Green River Formation near Kemmerer, Wyoming. They appear to be around 5 inches in length.

While the fish do appear to be complete and articulated, as with all unprepared fossils, there are no guarantees. You don't know what will be under the surface.
