Fossil Mahogany And Yellowwood Leaves - Nebraska
This is two well preserved fossil leaves from the Valentine Formation of Cherry County, Nebraska. One side of the rock contains a 4.0" mahogany (Cedrela) leaf and the reverse side has a 2.0 yellowwood (Cladrastis).
Yellowwood is a medium sized deciduous flowering tree of the legume family.
Comes with an acrylic stand.
