Top Quality Walliserops sp. Trilobite - Timrzit, Morocco

This is an incredible specimen of a currently undescribed type of Walliserops quarried near Timrzit, Morocco. It was prepared by the top preparator in Morocco, and the results are spectacular. It doesn't have some of the pitting on the shell from over aggressive air abrading or airscribe dings you will see on less quality specimens. This type of quality requires quite a bit more time, and this specimen easily took over 40 hours of work.

This species is similar to the short-forked Walliserops hammi found at Foum Zguid several hours away, but has a much different looking trident. It has wonderful eye facet preservation and over 40 small, free-standing spines. There is NO RESTORATION on this specimen.
