Three Samara (Winged Seed) Fossils - Green River Formation

These are three beautifully preserved fossil winged seed pods of Cedrelospermum nervosum(?). The specimen was collected from the Green River Formation near Kemmerer, Wyoming. While this formation is best known for well-preserved fossil fish, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora selection.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
