Three Devil Horn Cyphaspis Trilobites - Top Quality Preparation
This is an aesthetic cluster of three Cyphaspis walteri trilobites from the Bou Dib Formation near Mrakib, Morocco.
This piece was prepared by Hammi, one the best preparitors in the world, the shell detail is amazing and it has no restoration.
This species of Cyphaspis is sometimes referred to as the "Devil Horn" Cyphaspis for obvious reasons. This species was finally formally described in 2014. A link to the paper can be found below.
