Superb 6.25" Eurypholis Fossil Fish - Lebanon
This is a exceptional and quite large example of rare predatory fish, Eurypholis boissieri. This fish was quarried from the famous Upper Cretaceous aged, marine lagerstätte near Haqil, Lebanon. Outstanding dark colored preservation which contrasts nicely with the light colored limestone. The rock has been stabilized on the backside with epoxy.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
