Small Leidyosuchus Tooth In Matrix - Montana

This is nicely preserved tooth of the alligatoroid Leidyosuchus sternbergi still in the rock. It comes the the Upper Cretaceous deposits of the Hell Creek Formation in Montana. This is the same formation that produces fossils of such iconic dinosaurs at T-Rex and Triceratops.
