Serrated, 2.44" T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus rex) Tooth - South Dakota
High quality Tyrannosaurus rex teeth are not only hard to find but are probably the most collectable type of fossil there and tend to get snapped up as soon as they hit the market.
This one is in excellent shape and is 2.44" in length when measured straightline from the tip to the base on the outer edge. There is some interesting feeding damage/wear to the tip and most of the enamel is in good condition with some root etchings. The serrations on the inner edge are mostly visible.
It was collected from the Hell Creek Formation in Harding County, South Dakota.
