Serrated Fossil Great White Shark Tooth - 1.25"
This is a well preserved and highly serrated, fossil Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) tooth. It comes from the Hawthorn Formation in South Carolina which is Miocene in age. These fossil great white teeth are much rarer than the Megalodon teeth which they are associated with. This specimen has a nice root unlike most specimens where the fragile root is heavily eroded.
