.67" Theropod (Juvenile Tyrannosaur?) Tooth - Hell Creek Formation
This is a .67" long, serrated theropod tooth from the Hell Creek Formation in Carter County, Montana. The serrations along one edge of the tooth are chipped, however the serrations along the opposite edge and the enamel are both in excellent condition.
The smaller teeth theropod teeth from the Hell Creek Formation can be notoriously hard to ID. This tooth appears to most likely be from a juvenile tyrannosaur.
