Serrated, 1.51" Fossil Great White Shark Tooth - Florida
This is a nice, serrated Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) tooth collected in Northern Florida. It comes from the Hawthorn Formation which is Miocene in age. The serrations are still sharp along the edge of the blade and it has nice enamel preservation. The root is in good shape compared with most specimens, who roots are mostly eroded away.
