Scarce Dicanthopyge Trilobite - Forked Tail
This is a really scarce trilobite a Dicanthopyge from the Upper Cambrian McKay group of BC. It is remarkably detailed for it's size, owing to the quality of the preparation work that we done under high powered magnification. This trilobite is currently only known from one site in the McKay Group where access is very limited. One of the diagnostic features on this cute little trilobite is it's "forked" tail.
This is part of a small selection of trilobites from this location which I was able to obtain in a trade.
