Rare Hamatolenus Trilobite - 5.7" Long

Do not confuse this rare Hamatolenus with the other common and very frequently faked Lower Cambrian species from Morocco like Cambropallas. This is a rare trilobite, and has very minimal restoration done to it.

It's also quite large a 5.7" long and the preparation work has been nicely done with the genal spines and pleural tips in high relief against the matrix. You can follow the breaks in the rock through the trilobite, like you should be able to. There is some touchup restoration near the top of the left genal spine and a few small areas on the left side of the thorax.
