Rare, Enrolled Hesslerides Trilobite - Crawfordsville, Indiana
This is a rare, Carboniferous trilobite (Hesslerides bufo) from the crinoid beds near Crawfordsville, Indiana. It is folded in half but complete and would be about 1.4" long if outstretched. There is also some fossil coral and other assorted marine fossils present on the rock. Complete trilobites are very rare from these layers.
