Rare Pseudodechenella Trilobite Pair - Centerfield Limestone, NY

This is a spectacular piece with a pair of closely associated Pseudodechenella rowi trilobites from the Centerfield Limestone in New York. Both specimens are 1.5" long and quick 3D with beautiful shell preservation. The edge of the tail on the one one right at the edge of the rock has been restored.

The few NY Pseudodechenella you see typically come from the Hamilton Group, where the trilobites have been compressed. Due to the very hard, sledge-hammer breaking composition of the limestone of the Centerfield Limestone, the preservation is quite 3D.
