Rare, 5.5" Fossil Lobster (Hoploparia) - Lyme Regis, England
This is a rare, fossil lobster (Hoploparia longimana) from the Lyme Regis region of England. It's beautifully preserved inside of a concretion with both claws complete and the tail curled under. The concretion measures 5.5" long but the lobster would be closer to 8" if it has been outstretched.
