Pyritized Kosmoceras Ammonite Fossils - Great Display

This is a beautiful display piece featuring two pyrite replaced Kosmoceras ammonite fossils. The ammonite specimens have been cut in half revealing the beautiful inner chamber detail, filled with druzy pyrite crystals. These fossil ammonite halves have then been mounted in a polished argillite matrix to create a very aesthetic display. The matrix displays well on the included acrylic display stand and measures approximately 6.4x5.5" Photos don't do it justice.
