Psychopyge - As Good As They Get

This is a HUGE example of the very odd Devonian trilobite Psychopyge elegans. It's over 4 1/2 inches long and has been expertly prepared with all of the rows of tiny spines free standing as well as the genal spines and the odd snout like projection. The eye facets on this example are nearly perfect. They really don't get any better than this one.
