Priscacara And Diplomystus Multiple Plate
Here is a very displayable association of two very aesthetic fossil fish, a Cockerellites liops and Diplomystus dentatus. It was collected from the 50 million year old Green River Formation of Wyoming and painstakingly prepared using hand tools under magnification to expose all of the fossilized detail.
Both fish are right around 4 1/2 inches in length and are nicely presented on a natural 14x8 inch rectangular piece of matrix. The matrix has been backed with 3/4 inch plywood to both add stability and also make the piece easy to mount on a wall.
